Who We Are

First Light Supply is an outdoor coffee ritual lifestyle brand built around a single, undeniable truth: Coffee Tastes Better Outdoors.
We make minimal, premium apparel — tees, hats, hoodies, mugs — designed to be worn in those moments. Not technical gear. Not trail running kit. Something you’d wear to the trailhead, at the van door, on the early ride, or at the cafe when you get back. Something that says something true about who you are without needing a caption.
We are a new brand. We are a small team ( Just Me and My Dog For Now Say Hi To Jet), And we are building something real.

Our Story

It started the way most good things do — with a simple, undeniable feeling.
You’ve had it too. A morning somewhere open. Maybe a hill you walked before breakfast. A camp chair by a lake. The front step with fog still in the valley below. A trail you found twenty minutes from the house that you somehow kept forgetting about.
You had coffee. The coffee was ordinary. But it wasn’t.

First Light Supply was built around that truth. Not as a clever slogan. As a real, lived observation that most people have had — and almost no one had built a brand around.

Our Mission

To make the outdoor morning feel intentional and earned. To build a brand for the people who go outside on purpose, who have a coffee ritual that matters, and who want to belong to something that understands both of those things — without making it complicated.
We exist to close the gap between knowing you feel better outside and actually getting out there. Not with gear lists or grand expeditions. Just with one simple, repeatable ritual: take your coffee outside.

Meet the Founder — Lee Read

First Light Supply was founded by me, Lee Read.

The brand started with a simple, personal truth. My favourite coffee has always been the first one of the day — taken outside, in the early morning light, in a quiet corner of my garden next to the fish pond. No screen. No rush. Just the light coming up, something warm in my hands, and usually Jet, my dog, turning up with whatever toy he’s decided is the most important thing in the world that morning.
That moment — unhurried, ordinary, and somehow exactly right — is what this brand is built around.

I started First Light Supply because I believed there were more people who understood that feeling, and because no one had built a brand that really honoured it. Not the extreme version. Not the filtered, aspirational version. Just the real one.
